Palamu DIG OP Khare, Gumla SP JDH Gudia and Jharkhand Armed Police-I Havildar Sagar Gurung have been selected for the coveted President's medal this year. The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a notification in this regard. While Gudia has bagged the distinguished service medal, Khare and Gurung have been give the meritorious service medal.
Meanwhile, Governor Syed Sibtey Razi, would inspect the guard of honour on the Republic Day at the Morabadi Ground and later review the parade. The parade would be led by Army Personnel of the 23 Infantry Division who would be joined by personnel from the State police, the Central Industrial Security Force, the Jharkhand Armed Police and the NCC cadets.
